Jamie Beck, a successful photographer who worked on fashion weeks and shot campaigns for Chanel, Cartier, Swarovski, and many other brands, left Manhattan to try life in Provence.

I love everything that Jamie does and I follow her account on Instagram. Her photographs and the process of filming, which she carefully documents in “stories” often are my source of inspiration.

So when I saw that the interview with Jamie and photos of her current home were featured in November’s Grazia Magazine, I could not resist sharing this story in my blog.

Jamie lives in a modest apartment that was once part of a wealthy family mansion, located in a small town Apt, in the heart of the Luberon.

In the interview Jamie said that she feels that in Provence she lives more than she has truly lived anywhere. She talked about her home, the incredible hand painted plaster ceiling of a royal wedding crest she wakes up under each morning, about her garden and terrace, about cycling through vineyards, gardens, lavender fields and amazing historical places.

Jamie also shared her favorite places in the south of France. For example,Villa La CosteLac D’EsparronLa Chassagnette, La Bastide de Marie, the favorite bakery of Boulangerie au Pierrot Blanc, the favorite French antique shop La Maison D’Inés, of course, the Saturday morning market of Apt.

In her Instagram Jamie also shares interesting finds of French cosmetics, outfits and her beautiful purchases.

Enjoy beautiful photos of Jamie!
